Definitions

The Brand Guideline document provides readers with instructions on how to properly apply the brand design to the email templates and modules presented here.

The Modules folder includes all necessary files related to every existing module. Inside that folder, you will find:

  • a couple of different subfolders (one folder for each module) with the names of your modules. Inside every subfolder, you will see:
    • the thumbnails of the module for desktop and mobile layouts,
    • module.html file that includes the raw HTML code without the inline CSS styles,
    • module.css file that includes the CSS styles that may be applied to a particular module,
    • module-inlined-css.html file which represents the HTML code with the inline CSS styles. You can insert this code into a necessary place when working on your email template design,
    • used images in the individual images folder.
  • the modules.html file, which describes every module, that you have in every subfolder above, in the details. This file is generated for convenient navigation through all existing modules in this project.

In the Assets folder, you may find the source files used for creating templates and modules.

The Templates folder includes all necessary files related to every existing email template. Inside that folder, you will find as many subfolders as many templates you’ve got. Each subfolder includes:

  • the PDF file of email templates,
  • the images folder with all images used in email template code,
  • local-images-and-local-css.html file that includes the raw HTML code of email template and the images linked to the images folder. This file doesn’t include the inline CSS styles,
  • local-images-and-local-css.css that includes the CSS styles that may be applied to a particular email template,
  • local-images-and-inlined-css.html file that represents the HTML code of entire email template along with the inline CSS styles and the images linked to the images folder.
  • the tests folder that includes the thumbnail images, recorded by EmailOnAcid while testing this email template across different email clients. The name of each thumbnail refers to the name of a tested email client (e.g., “outlook2016mac.jpg” represents the email testing on MS Outlook 2016 application on Mac machine)
  • the Templates.html file, which describes every template, that you have in every subfolder above, in the details. This file is generated for convenient navigation through all existing templates in this project.
